We help babies with heart conditions to give them a better start in life

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm getting on my bike to help fight heart disease!!!

In June 2011 I will be taking part in a tough cycle ride through the east African country of Tanzania to raise funds to fight heart disease.  The 400km cycle will start in the port city of Dar-es-Saleem and work its way through Tanzania to the foot of the Ngura mountain range.  Five days of gruelling dirt tracks and off road riding means that this is a challenge not for the "feint hearted."

All funds raised by the event will be split equally between British Heart Foundation, CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young), H. E. A. R. T. Uk and Tiny Tickers.  All four charities do fantastic work to help fight heart disease.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

A baby is born with a serious heart condition every 2 hours in the UK and despite congenital heart disease being one of the biggest killers of infants, less than half of these conditions are picked up during pregnancy. That's why Tiny Tickers exists, to give these babies a better start in life.
