Help the Hospices - London to Paris bike ride · 3 September 2010 ·

Hospice care eases the physical and emotional pain of death and dying. Letting people focus on living, right until the end. But too many people miss out on this essential care. Hospice UK fights for hospice care for all who need it, for now and forever.

Story

We need your help!

Four friends - Andy Boal, Graeme Jack, Gus Stewart and Sandy Wilson - are cycling 244 a**e numbing, leg burning miles from London to Paris over 3 days in September in aid of Help the Hospices.

We're doing this because we've all seen at first hand what hospice care does for people - young and old - as they reach the end of their lives.

Hospice care relies on donations. And it's not cheap. But it makes a huge difference to people when they most need help.

Wherever you are in Britain, the money raised by Help the Hospices will be contributing to the running costs of YOUR local hospice.

So we would really value your support for our efforts but mainly for those who need hospice care.

Please help us to help them by sponsoring us as generously as you can.

All donations - no matter the size - will enable Help the Hospices to make a difference.

Your support will also make our legs feel just that bit less tired as we battle our way towards the Arc de Triomphe!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate.

Thanks for reading this, and many thanks for your support. We'll need it!
