Fundraising for Alder Hey Imagine Appeal
Story
Dear colleague,
It was with great sadness that we recently heard of the diagnosis of Leukaemia in one of our students at Alun school. We wish a speedy and full recovery to Lloyd Martin. He has been receiving treatment at Alder Hey, Liverpool.
As it happens there is a Land's End to John O'Groats cycle ride from the 17th to 27th of July 10 days (of the school Holidays!) .
I would like to use this challenge to raise money to support Alder Hey's Imagine appeal a great cause supporting the children's hospital, which has supported so many children and families in the region.
The aim is to raise at least £800 for Imagine - about £1.00 a mile.
In addition I hope to raise a similar amount for North West Cancer Research Fund which actually developed treatments given to Lloyd and other patients at Alder Hey.
