The team are completing the Yorkshire Three Peaks a challenge,  that traditionally, you are supposed to do in twelve hours solid walking. We aim to do it in around ten hours. We start at 7 am on the 12th May.

This classic hike is a tough and challenging 26 miles incorporating the three highest peaks in the Yorkshire Dales - Pen-y-Ghent (2,277ft), Whernside (2,415ft) and Ingleborough (2,375ft).

Many people are fighting cancer on a daily basis and with your help we can improve people's daily lives. Each step the team take on the day goes a small way to help others. We hope collectively that you can also help and donate. No matter how small every little helps.

As a little extra I will be wearing a pedometer and we are going to run a 'sweep' to see how can guess the number of steps I'll take on the day (if the rest of the team carry me, as they say they do on a daily basis (!) I reckon around 20!
