MISSION COMPLETED - Just to confirm that I sucessfully reached the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro, Uhuru Peak, the Highest point in Africa at 5895m on 13th October 2010.

Yes - Me, Andy Timbrell will be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in October!!!!!!!!!

I've knocked smoking on the head and getting to the gym. I can't make any commitments about drinking less, nor no more.

As an incentive to complete this challenge I will be raising money for the Air Ambulance - this is a charity I've chosen due to the fact they provide an essential service to all. The air ambulance frequently attends rural accidents and is also  tasked to attend major road incidents. In order to provide this service they require £2 million in running costs, all of which comes from public donations and fundraising.

I am completing this challenge with a few work colleagues who are raising money for their own chosen charities - the hope that we will help each other along on what will prove to be hard work, for good causes!
