We are Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity. We stop at nothing to help give seriously ill children childhoods that are fuller, funner and longer. Because we believe no childhood should be lost to illness.

Story

Please sponsor me as I take on the Three Peaks Challenge: climbing the tallest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales (Scafell Pike, Ben Nevis and Snowdon) within the space of 24 hours.

Why? I'm lucky to have a happy and healthy 3 year old but there are lots of parents out there who have ill children. I hope by completing the challenge that I might be able to help some less fortunate kids and parents and support the great work carried out by Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital.

When? 11-12 June 2011 (yes we will be climbing one of the mountains in the dark).

Who? There are six of us in the group. None of us are experienced mountain climbers, so this is going to be interesting...

How do I donate? Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
