Story

This page is in memory of Amber Decker, an incredible daughter, granddaughter, sister, neice and best friend who would light up any room and didn’t have a bad bone in her body. Everybody has been so blessed to have been touched by such an angel and we would like the memory of her kind soul to carry on.

There was nothing Amber loved more then family and friends. This is why we have chosen to support SOS Villages- a charity aimed at creating communities for orphaned and abandoned children. We think that the smiles Amber gives us through the happy 15 years and 25 days of memories she has left behind should be passed on to children who wouldn’t have anything to smile about without SOS Villages.

EVENTS:

* 1st- 5th September 2010- London- Paris Cycle

 * 6th March 2011- Ambers's Auntie Shane ran a half marathon in her memory.

We would like to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who has sponsored us for our London to Paris cycle ride which took place in September 2010.

The event was a huge success and although we have not quite made to £10,000 yet (we do still hope to achieve this in the future as our fundraising in memory of Amber will continue), we have managed to purchase the vehicle for the SOS Village in Amman, Jordan (pictures attached).

Obviously we would not have been able to do this without such fantastic support from our friends and family (you) and we feel very lucky to have had the opportunity to raise such a large amount of money for such a fantastic cause.

Thanks again!!!
