Story

Well life is an adventure isn’t it!
To prove this, I am with a very dear friend Mark Elliot committed to an exciting “Wing Walk” on the 10th July 2021 from 10am strapped to the top wing of a Stearman Biplane -not together - but hands free!

The location is:
Wingwalking Experiences and Events
RFC Rendcomb
Airfield,
The Ops Room
The Whiteway,
Cirencester
Glos GL7 7DF

From there we will take off, and hopefully land!

We have to be at the airfield for 10am as after a briefing, and only then, will we have a time for ‘lift off’ (subject to weather) we will be apparently be following each other ‘to the wild blue yonder!’

There has to be a good reason for doing this – there is! To raise as much money as possible for a wonderful organisation; Naomi House and Jackplace, two well known Hampshire hospices. The hospices are totally dedicated to making the lives of life limited children and young adults, and their families as marvelous as they can. Apart from this, it is also a great way, as we live in Amport in Hampshire to celebrate my 77th birthday!

Your support would mean so much and help raise a huge amount by sponsoring this mad cap venture! If you make a donation, be assured that all donations will be acknowledged with great thanks. We will announce shortly after the ‘flight of fancy’ as to how much ‘Naomi House & Jacksplace’ has benefited from your kindness and generosity. Thank you most sincerely in advance.

Naomi House & Jacksplace hospices provide specialist hospice care to hundreds of life limited and life threatened children, young adults and their families from Hampshire, Wiltshire, Dorset, Berkshire, West Sussex, Surrey and the Isle of Wight. Our vision is that every child, young adult and their families receive the care services they need, when and where they need them and for as long as needed. That's why we need your help. Every donation, no matter how big or small, can make a huge difference on good days, difficult days and last days.

Thank you,

Angela Silverman
