This is a half-marathon midnight walk to raise money for The Ayrshire Hospice, which provides Specialist Palliative Care for people with cancer and other life limiting illnesses and support for their families and carers across Ayrshire.

All Hospice services are free of charge and as a registered charity they rely heavily on the support and generosity of supporters without whom the Hospice could not exist.

I am doing this in memory of a very close friend who passed away over 4 years ago due to kidney failure. She loved to live life to the fullest and yet, her life was snatched away from her when she was 26 years old.

For those of you who know me, you will know how much I hate being in the rain & the cold, whilst sober and given our beautiful Scottish weather, this is a very big feat for me.  

So, please dig deep, in memory of those friends & families who have not been able to live a long healthy life & give whatever you can to make a difference.
