The Cambridge England vs Australia 5k, we did it! Our entry to the race didn't help Englands chances but we are proud to say we did not stop once and ran all the way! On the day these events are never as easy as they appear, the nerves kick in as well as the early start to get there on time! We kept each other going and for once managed not to talk for twenty minutes (mainly due to us being out of breath!) A HUGE thanks to everyone that has sponsored us so far.

It was a great atmosphere at the event with a few groups running together so watch out there may be a group event next time! (Fancy dress 10k in Cambridge?!).

Just a little reminder - The Chesterfords Pre-school is a charity based in Great Chesterford. It is ran by a committee of volunteer parents that give up so much time to help keep it going. It is not easy. Costs are high and it is increasingly difficult to meet them. It is a vital part of the community, as without the preschool there would be no other preschool that could accommodate the children. It isn't just about buying a few books it is about keeping it going as a service to the local families.

We are lucky to have wonderful staff that kindly gave up their time to have a fun day in the Summer holidays, money raised will be donated to my fundraising page which is fantastic and a great show of support. So everyone is pitching in to help.
