Im fundraising on behalf of The Hospice of St Francis who provide care for patients with serious or terminal illnesses. Many of the patients have cancer but they also look after patients with heart disease, lung disease, kidney disease and neurological disease, as well as cancer. 

I'll be walking the 'Walk with the Stars' on Saturday 19th June, walking 11 miles to Berkhamsted and back to Hemel Hempstead at MIDNIGHT!!

 

Here are just some examples of where your money will go:

 

£30 pays for 12 smoothie drinks for patients with poor appetites.

 

£50 pays for a tank of petrol, keeping our specialist homecare nurses on the road for two weeks.

 

£100 pays for one nurse's shift on our Inpatient Unit.

 

£150 pays for a 6-week course of therapy for a child coping with the loss of a loved one.

 

£200 pays for a month of diesel for our minibus, ensuring the safe transport of our patients to Day Hospice.
