I have worked for The Not Forgotten Association for 11 years as P.A. to The Chief Executive and consider myself very lucky to work for such a wonderful organisation.  Our beneficiaries are so deserving and it is wonderful to see how happy our events make them.

One of my roles is to help organise station collections, and I am always very lucky to have a very willing band of helpers – all mostly in their 80s and 90s. One of my stalwart collectors – Cyril Banks (88) has abseiled off Harlow Water Tower three times in aid of The Not Forgotten Association and I thought it would be nice to join him this time.  However, now that I am thinking of actually climbing off the top of the tower and lowering myself 110 feet to the ground, it doesn’t seem like such a good idea.  Still – all in a good cause.  I would be so grateful if anyone would sponsor me and I promise I will make you proud.
