Hi All,

I will be doing a sponsored trek of Mount Kilimanjaro in January 2011.

All funds that I raise will be going to the Willow Foundation. This is a national charity that provides special days for seriously ill 16 – 40 year olds. These special days offer a much needed time out from the stresses of living with a life-threatening condition, a chance to feel normal and to create happy memories.

In August last year the Willow Foundation provided my friend Joanne who was fighting against cancer with one of these special occasions. They sent Joanne, our friends Natalie & Jen and myself to London. We went to see Joanne’s favourite film in theatre version, Dirty Dancing. We also had an amazing & 1^st class meal and were chauffeur driven during our stay. Unfortunately Joanne passed away at the end of September. But thanks to the Willow Foundation we have an amazing memory of this weekend with Joanne to treasure with us always.

I would like to help the Willow Foundation provide other people with the same kind of opportunities that they provided Joanne and my friends with.
