SHS SLEEP OUT 20 for Sussex Homeless Support

This winter in the UK we are facing the biggest challenge ever, our homeless/rough sleepers numbers are rising. There is an estimated 80,000 facing homelessness  between now and Easter, nearly 250,000 in rent arrears and the country is being held  together by so few charities who are working frontline.  

Sussex Homeless Support (SHS) have not been able to hold any fundraising events  this year. They have been unsuccessful applying for local and national  governments grants, despite increasing our service from one street kitchen a  week to a massive eight a week. Their unpaid volunteers were the only support on  the street and have been most busy. Nobody that works/volunteers at SHS  receives a wage - it is all voluntary. All donations go a long way and they will not be  able to get through this Winter without your support.  

Dylan and myself are fortunate to have a roof over our heads but we live in a part of the country where many people don't. That's why we are going to be leaving our beds for one night only and camping out on the floor to raise awareness and funds for those that need them. We hope that this small thing makes a difference.
