I am a Domestic Abuse survivor and understand first hand how fleeing a dangerous situation can affect children. I became an Ambassador for the Buddy Bag Foundation to help this small UK charity make a difference and spread LOVE.

Children are often fleeing a violent situation, and have to leave home quickly, without a chance to collect basic items. These children arrive in emergency accommodation with just the clothes they're wearing. My mission is to make a difference right now to the children who have to live through this traumatic experience, especially with domestic abuse cases up by 25% and rising since the lockdown has been in place.

The Buddy Bag Foundation was created in response to the rising number of children who enter emergency care after fleeing violent situations at home

Restoring a sense of safety and security into a child’s life during a traumatic time is one of the first steps to recovery. By providing these children with a few essential items, we can help make the transition into emergency care a little easier.

To support children in this situation we have created the Buddy Bag ( Bag of Love) to provide comfort when all else has been removed.
