On May 4th my sister and I plan to abseil 100m down the Spinnaker tower in Portsmouth (see pic above). As well as being a great chance to raise money for a cause I feel really strongly about, I also want to show my daughter Holly that just because you’re afraid of something (WHICH, INDEED I AM -  to date, climbing to the top of a 10m wall has been my limit) it doesn’t mean you can’t get on and do it (or at least give it a go).

My chosen charity is Verity-PCOS because of the fantastic work that they do supporting women with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. This is the leading cause of problems with fertility and affects a huge number of women in the UK. I just wish these guys had been around 18 years ago.
