Statistics say 1 in 3 people will know someone who has been affected by Cancer at some point in their life. Statistics aren't always accurate and at the beginning of this year my closest friends lost two very special people.

In memory of Lorraine and Sharon, Malia and I are doing some fundraising for the Joseph Weld Hospice who took care of them both. A £10 donation provides essential clinical supplies for one patient for one week in the Joseph Weld Hospice.

We intend to run the Family Santa run on the 12th December 2010. It is a 2 mile run round Poundbury in a 5 piece Santa suit.

I realise 2 miles is not a huge distance, but it's a very good cause and will be a BIG challenge for Malia so please sponsor her.
