Thank you all for supporting me on my journey.  It was an incredible experience: not one drop of rain, amazing team back up, huge encouragement from my fellow sufferers, and delicious food.  BUT it was sheer hell for a lot of the time and I should have done much more practice on hills!  I was last in on 3 out of the 4 days, but I did it.  Arriving at the Eifel Tower as part of a gang of 120 shouting and bell-ringing cyclists, shooting through red lights in the exciting Parisian traffic was brilliant.
