Story
This year I am undertaking the Tough Mudder…..
A few years ago I undertook heart surgery for a potentially life threatening condition… I survived. Nonetheless, the ordeal was tough. I was 20.
Yet thousands of small children and babies experience life threatening conditions every year, I can’t even begin to imagine how difficult that must be, for the children, as well as their families.
What we do know is that Great Ormond Street hospital (GOSH) has helped thousands of sick children up and down the country. Each year there are over 240,000 patient visits to the hospital, a level of demand that requires over 50 million pounds of support every single year, to keep GOSH at the forefront of paediatric medicine.
