My cousin Jessica Wales died on the 12th of January 2010. After suffering with cystic fibrosis most of her life she recently underwent a double lung transplant.  She had spent the last three years campaigning to raise awareness for people who are waiting to recieve an organ transplant. 

I am raising money (and awarness) for the charity that she championed.

"Live Life then Give Life was created to raise awareness of organ donation and the chronic lack of organ donors in the UK. We aim to encourage people to think and talk about organ donation."

I hope to complete the Reading Half Marathon on the morning of the 21st March 2010, in less than 2 hours. No mean feat for someone new to distance running.

I started training this week and am confident that I will achieve my goal of 13ish miles in under 2 hours.
