As you probably know, we are extremely grateful for the care and skill of the staff at the National Hospital for Neurology & Neurosurgery in Queen Square, London; and on Sunday 4 October 2009 we are taking part in an event organised by the National Hospital Development Foundation (NHDF) to raise money for a Brain Tumour Unit.  We would very much appreciate it if you would help us support this cause. 

This is not a marathon, it's not not a climb up Mount Kilimanjaro or a four day clamber up the Inca Trail in Peru. The London Bridgathon is a walk which crosses six of London’s bridges over the River Thames and takes approximately two and a half hours to three hours to complete.  Money raised from the London Bridgathon will enable work to commence on a 12-bed Brain Tumour Unit.  With your help, NHDF hopes to raise the final £1 million needed to refurbish and equip the ward.  

Whatever you give to help us and the NHDF reach our targets will be very much appreciated.
