The London Bridgathon 2009 in aid of NHDF Queen Square · 4 October 2009

There are 14.7million people – that’s more than one in six – in the UK living with a neurological condition. Here at the country's leading neurological centre, we’re passionate about supporting the hospital to help improve the lives of patients through treatment and research.

Story

Thank you for clicking through to our JustGiving page. As you probably know, we are extremely grateful for the care and skill of the staff at the National Hospital for Neurology & Neurosurgery in Queen Square, London; and on Sunday 4 October 2009 we are taking part in an event organised by the National Hospital Development Foundation (NHDF) to raise money for a Brain Tumour Unit.  We would very much appreciate it if you would help us support this cause.

This is not a marathon, it's not not a climb up Mount Kilimanjaro or a four day clamber up the Inca Trail in Peru. The London Bridgathon is a walk which crosses six of London’s bridges over the River Thames and takes approximately two and a half hours to three hours to completeMoney raised from the London Bridgathon will enable work to commence on a 12-bed Brain Tumour Unit.  With your help, NHDF hopes to raise the final £1 million needed to refurbish and equip the ward.

Whatever you give to help us and the NHDF reach our targets will be very much appreciated.

With many thanks.

Anthony and Elizabeth
