EDS is a chronic disorder and diagnosis takes a long time. Most doctors including mine believed that I had a mental disorder and kept treating me for that. They also convinced my family that I needed strong psychotic drugs. You are left fighting your disease as well as the medical profession and family+friends. I was lucky that my family still supported me and I could financially keep looking for answers to get a diagnosis. I would like to help in this small way to others facing similar situation and need financial support. Getting a diagnosis is only the tip of the iceberg. As there are several issues due to this disorder including gastroparesis, Pots, Mcas and involvement of all the body organs. All of this needs continuous management with a long list of consultants who often also have no idea as there is not enough research.  I hope to continue fundraising to support for EDS.
