Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In week commencing 19th September 7 middle aged men from age 54 (me) to 70 years old will be cycling from Iona on the westerly tip of Mull back to our home village of Corbridge, a distance of 320 miles. We will be backed up by my wife Gill who will provide drinks, spares, encouragement and Vaseline!

We are raising much needed funds for the Charlotte Straker Project which is a residential and nursing home for the elderly in Corbridge Northumberland. Please see www.charlottestraker.org.uk for more details.

Charlotte Straker is a registered charity using raised funds to upgrade and re equip the home and to support those residents unable to meet the full fees. It is entirely dependant on events like this and donations to keep up the great services it provides to the area. Recently 3 pailliative care beds have been added which are being well utilised by the Tynedale GPs.

Your help to get me to my target would be greatly appreciated. I realise that this is a very local project but any help you can give me with sponsorship would be gratefully received and reciprocated in the future. Tynedale friends are invited to sponsor generously as you may need the services of Charlotte Straker in the future!
