Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Please help Ashington Page raise £1000 for Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Five of our team, Gareth, Angela, Tracey, Belinda and Steve are taking part in the unique 100km moonlit ride past London’s iconic landmarks on the 8/9th June.

It starts at 11.30pm and we cycle through the night probably finishing around 6.30am, just in time for breakfast!

Great Ormond Street Hospital saved Gareth’s son’s life in 2006.  George Ashington was just 12 when he had multiple organ failure and was on a life support machine for 4 weeks.

The consultants, doctors and nurses were all awe inspiring.  Their dedication and professionalism is truly humbling as is seeing the many brave children.

George has made a full recovery and is now a strapping 19 year old who will go to university this September.

Please can you sponsor us an help us raise £1000.
