Fundraising for Walk the Walk

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In a moment of weakness, or perhaps insanity, I agreed to do this year’s Moonwalk. “But isn’t this for women”, I hear you say. Well yes that’s true, however, there are a special few (and me) who get to break that rule (it’s not what you know after all).
Now I can imagine the stress this may be causing, the disturbing thought of me in a bra. I must admit it has caused me nightmares too. But since the visit to the healer (some say witchdoctor) I have finally come to terms with my fate. Now all I have to do is sew the jelly babies on and I’ll be ready to go!
The upside of all of this is that you all get to sponsor me and give generously to the wonderful charity that this great event supports. Whilst I don’t have a specific story regarding why this is such an important cause I am sure each of you knows someone who may have been impacted by cancer, and know of its potentially devastating consequences, but also the wonderful stories of fight and survival.
I thank you for your support and may get pictures of me all dressed up if that helps to persuade you. Equally if that thought makes you physically ill, I promise not to share.
