Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
On Sunday the 10th October 2010 at 13.28 "someone" (Lee) thought it would be a good idea to compete in the Royal Marines Commando Challenge. For those of you whom are not familiar with this challenge visit www.commandochallenge.co.uk The "activity" is a 3km run, 4km run with assault course and final 3km run back. The assault course is a mixture of water, mud, muddy water and more mud, including the infamous "sheep dip". Click on the "what to expect" page, and imagine us all going through this.
Whilst we are of course doing this for the challenge and team building benefits (!), we are also hoping to raise lots of money for the events chosen charities being mainly the Devon Air Ambulance and the C Group which supports the Royal Marines.
The physical fitness of the team can be judged from the photos opposite. The team are currently in training (some more than most), so if you see us hobbling along you will now know why!
We would be very grateful to receive any amount of donation for these great causes - and hopefully we will draw energy from your generosity!
