Story

Remi was born 16 weeks prematurely, 23 weeks and 6 days old, weighing a mere 1llb 11oz, quickly dropping to 1llb 8oz and given a 1 in 10 chance of survival.

Remi is a surviving twin and had a stay of 108 days in the intensive care unit at University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire, and an additional 4 weeks after returning home with breathing difficulties. She had 7 blood transfusions, 5 platelete transfusions, has chronic lung disease, a heart murmur and due to her gross prematurity, has been left blind in one eye, despite many operations, her sight was unable to be saved in her right eye.

But lets look on the bright side.............because of this little miracle, 5 fatties from Business by Technology in Coventry (including Remi's Daddy, Phil), want to shed the pounds - 120 to be precise by the 30th November to raise money for Baby Life Line. This is a charity that funds vital equipment and training for maternity units across the country - as a charity, no statutory funding is available so sponsorship is vital.

Please dig deep and donate now!! Many Thanks xx
