Thanks for taking the time to visit our just giving page. Alastair, Iain, Ruosha and Colin will be jumping out of a plane at the end of March so please dig deep and donate.  We will circulate a summary of jump day, photos and details of our (hopefully) brave exploits to all who donate.

As any parent with young children in the Edinburgh will know, the staff at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children are always available to help when there are scrapes ,bumps and breaks as well as anything more serious. The Hospital receives over 100,000 children through its doors each year from all over the East of Scotland.

The five main areas of assistance the Friends Foundation raises money for are:

-the provision of a wide variety of extra comforts, which make time in hospital better for children

-the provision of extra child and family-friendly facilities

-the purchase of extra medical equipment over and above NHS provision

-he provision of extra support for sick children who are cared for in the Community

-funding for extra training and research
None of this comes for free and the Sick Kids Friends Foundation was set up in 1992 to support the work of the Royal Hospital for Sick Children.
