Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am running the Virgin London Marathon on Sunday 22 April 2012, I got the place through my running club ballot, and have chosen to support the PSP Association. I found out about this charity recently, my mother, Sarah, was diagnosed with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP), after several years of not knowing what was wrong with her. PSP is a degenerative brain disease which affects eye movement, balance, mobility, speech and swallowing. On a personal level, as a family, we know how devastating and cruel this condition can be. Up until five years ago my mum was a popular, active, octogenarian, who enjoyed socialising, playing golf, dancing and loved her bingo. *Sarah has now lost her mobility, speech and has diffculty swallowing. I'd like to help raise awareness of this condition and the PSP Association. So, please donate whatever you can afford.
Thanks Bob x
*P.S. Sarah passed away on 22 February 2012
