<p class="MsoNormal">We are raising money for the Tŷ Hafan Hospice which offers comfort, care and support for life-limited children and young people and is dedicated to improving the quality of life for the whole family. This comfort and support extends out of the hospice and reaches right into the heart of the family home, and is completely free of charge to the families in Wales who need it.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Tŷ Hafan was established in 1999 and since then has helped over 400 families, who live the dreadful reality that their children with life-limiting conditions may not reach the age of 19.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Children suffer from various conditions, such as Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, Cystic Fibrosis and Celebral Palsy. Some children are diagnosed at birth; others receive no diagnosis or at some point the decision maybe made to stop treatment. As you can imagine, families often feel shocked, confused and isolated. But they are not alone, there is a helping hand and it's called Tŷ Hafan. Tŷ Hafan is a registered charity and was established entirely from public donations. It now costs millions of pounds each year to run the care services and all but 17% (Government funding) is raised through the generosity of our donors and supporters.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">We hope to raise £5000 to support the Tŷ Hafan Hospice through the sponsorship of a 3 peaks challenge. This involves climbing, Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon in 24 hours. We will start at 16.30 on the 8th July and finish before 16.30 on the 9th July. If the weather is good it will just be unpleasant and if the weather is bad it will be wretched. To identify the participating individual talents we were going to use actual photos but time is pressing and we think the clip art pretty much hits the various nails on their respective heads.
