Story

Welcome to the Baker Tilly Fundraising page for the Maggie’s Monster Bike and Hike 2010 Challenge.

Thank you for taking the time to help us with our fundraising efforts for the Maggie’s Centre.

Maggie’s provides support to anyone affected by any type of cancer, be they a patient, family member or friend. They provide a free programme of information, psychological support and anxiety reduction to complement medical treatment received at adjacent NHS hospitals. Every penny raised will go straight towards supporting those families, friends and carers who have been touched by cancer in your community.

Maggie’s Monster Bike and Hike is a 24-hour challenge that goes from Fort William through to Inverness covering 73 miles along the Great Glen Way. Teams will bike 30 miles and can then choose to hike eight miles to the Bronze finish, 22 miles to the Silver finish or go the whole way and walk 43 miles to the Gold finish!

Further information on the event can be found by clicking on the link below:

In standard Baker Tilly tradition we have all agreed to go for the Gold finish, which, for those of you who know the team are aware, is a significant challenge. However, we will be training hard to ensure that we rise to the challenge.

We would like to thank you and on behalf of the Maggie’s Centre for your support, and we’re confident that your generosity will help spur us over the finish line (even if some of us are crawling by the end).

Many thanks

Baker Tilly
