As this is my first 10k and obviously a challenge for me, I would like to fundraise for Charlie Fleck and the Brainwave Charity.

Who is Charlie?

A 2 year boy with a lovely smiley face who suffers from cerebral palsy due to a premeture birth.

How does Brainwave help Charlie?

Charlie visited Brainwave in Sommerset for 2 days last September for an assessment. Brainwave provided an exercise programme, equipment and guidance to parents. Soon after this visit Charlie made fantastic progress, being able to stand up and crawl on all fours!

Charlie will now be assessed on a 6 monthly basis in Perth.

20% of funds raised will go directly towards Charlie's development with the other 80% going to the Charity - which Charlies gains from too!

How do I know Charlie?

Charlie's mum Lorraine is also a Jog Scotland runner. Last year she successfully ran the 10k for Charlie. This year however she won't be taking part as she is expecting baby number 2!
