What is this charity about?
The Partnership Walk & Run ("PWR") is an initiative of the Aga Khan Foundation ("AKF").  

AKF is an international development agency and part of the Aga Khan Development Network ("AKDN").  

Here are a few quick facts about AKDN:

- It operates over 300 schools and advanced education programmes around the world (including 2 universities) - It operates over 200 healthcare facilities, including 12 hospitals, which together serve over 1.5 million patients annually - Its private sector arm (the Aga Khan Fund for Economic Development or "AKFED") operates over 90 project companies which collectively employs over 90,000 people (and it has partnered with the World Bank in over 30 of these projects) - Is partnered with organisations like: OXFAM, World Bank, UN, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, AID, Rockefeller Foundation, Microsoft, and others
