The ability to get around is vital in order to live a full life yet thousands of people with sight loss never leave home alone. We empower visually impaired people to do that and rely on the support of the public to fund the guide dog service.

Story

Our Flat Coat Retriever Barney is backpacking the length of Great Britain with us starting at Land's End on the 27th March 2015. The route is from Land's End to John O'Groats and is approx. 1200 miles / 2000km mostly off-road and will take about 3 months (approx 85 days walking). We are doing it for fun but Barney has a mission - to collect money for Guide Dogs for the Blind.
