London NACC Walk for Colitis and Crohn's · 8 May 2010

We’re the UK’s leading charity for Crohn’s and Colitis. Right now, over 500,000 people in the UK are living with a lifelong disease that many people have never heard of. We’re working to improve diagnosis and treatment; to fund research and to raise awareness.

Story

Dear Friends,

To mark my 50th year (!!) and to acknowledge the life-saving surgery and support received from both Addenbrooke’s Hospital and NACC almost 12 years ago - and for their ongoing support ever since - I will be undertaking various fundraising activities on their behalf during the coming year.

These events will fall under the overall banner of ‘£50-4-50 years’ with the aim of raising a total of £2500 by the date of my birthday – October 15th.

I would, therefore, like to invite your support for the first of these events –

NACC London Walk for Colitis and Crohn’s on Saturday 8th May
                                            http://www.nacc.org.uk/content/general/ccwalk.asp

Your time and consideration in supporting me in my quest to ‘give something back’ to those who have given me so much is valued and very much appreciated.

With grateful thanks and very best regards, Barry (a.k.a. 'Bazza!)

***STOP PRESS*** Dave Rodney Sprocker has now signed-up to the walk - because dogs suffer from IBD too..... Sponsor him NOW! Woof!
