Lets beat cancer together!

Cancer is a horrible disease affecting far too many. After hearing of yet another life taken far too early by cancer I decided to raise money to support Cancer Research in finding a cure. 

This journey has taken me across many challenges: 

The first, as you all know, was cycling the West Highland Way. 100 miles across country. That was tough and gruelling and you all supported me immensely throughout it which is why I felt I needed to step it up a gear.

Last year, together with 4 friends, I set of on an adventure to hike the 10 tallest munros. Considering I had no hiking experience, no route planning experience and definitely no map ready experience it was quite a challenge. Much harder than I ever anticipated. 

It is estimated that 1 in 3 people will develop cancer at some point in their life. That means that the majority of the population will be affected by it in one way or another, therefore, let's join together to help prevent it, cure it and where cure isn't possible, at least improve the lives of those battling with it.  

I hate asking for money, but on this occasion I will. It is to help Cancer Research continue their amazing work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. It is to help more people survive cancer. Please dig deep and sponsor us – however little you can afford, it will go a very long way.

And don't forget that if you are a tax payer you can also Gift Aid it at no cost to you!

Last but not least, please share this with your friends, colleagues and families. They might not have any interested in me or my challenge, but at least a third of them will have a reason to want cancer cured!
