Story
My mum was diagnosed and unfortunately died from nasophargyneal cancer at the age of 42. Just like other head and neck cancer patients her treatment involved chemotherapy and radiotherapy. It is understood the psychological impact of having a shell during treatment could be a daunting experience 😐😣😑even though you are told to relax. Technology has been moving on so quickly that it could change the patient's experience🙂😊❤.
I will be running 🏃♀️my 1st half marathon on 11 November 2023 and fundraising for 'Southend Radiotherapy Spotlight Appeal' to purchase a SGRT 'state-of-art' radiotherapy☢ treatment machine❗.
✅The appeal goal is to raise £600,000. Hope every pound counts towards their target. https://spotlightappeal.org
