Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As most of you will be well aware, I am going on a trip of a lifetime in October and my first stop is Kenya. Whilst I am in this beautiful country, I am going to spend some time at a The Good Life Orphanage in Mombasa.  I first heard about the orphanage through a friend who had visited there and then set up a facebook page to raise awareness. The orphanage itself was set up by Mary and Kevin Maguire and you can visit their website at http://www.thegoodlifeorphanage.com/   They are doing an amazing job but I am sure they will agree that any small thing we can do to help the children will be greatly appreciated.

My trip is something I have been working hard towards for a long time however these children do not have the opportunities that I have had and I feel that I should be able to do something to help them to get as many of their own opportunities as possible.  Because of this I have decided to abseil in to the 120ft Devil's Gorge and am taking Joey with me!! For many of you this may look like a walk in the park but for us, it will definitely be a challenge. We will be doing this on Saturday 17th July at 10.00am, you are welcome to come and watch (or join in!!).
