Story

In September 2010 my son Aled got diagnosed with a brain tumour at the age of 2 weeks. A month later the consultants in the local hospital told my partner and myself he had only weeks to live.

Now 7 months later he's still full of life and that has only be made possible by the expertise of the doctors and nurses of Great Ormond Street hospital (GOSH).

Rougly 400 children are diagnosed in the UK with a brain tumour and 100 of these children are treated in GOSH to save their lives.

Not much is known why Aled and all these other children get these tumours and because less than 1% of the research money on cancer is spend on brain tumour research, an institute like GOSH is for many the last resort of hope.

Great Ormond Street hospital need to raise £ 50 million pound per year to keep going and create miracles.

On the 7th of August 2011 I have successfully completed the Sprint traithlon in 1 hour and 33 minutes!

Thank you all for your generous donations to date! I'm flabberghasted by the response & support you all have given! It's far beyond my initial expectations.
