Story
My daughter's 6 year old class mate was suddenly diagnosed with leukaemia in 2008. He is a brave soldier but regularly suffers due to the effects of chemotherapy and weakness to his immune system. His parents try to lead a normal family life, looking after their other son and working to pay the bills. They are being supported throughout PASIC (Parent Association for Seriously Ill Children) which provides comfort and support to help families cope.
On 11 September 2009 I will be cycling the Coast to Coast Cycle route from Whitehaven (Cumbria) to Tynmouth (Tyne & Wear). The journey is about 150 miles and traverses the Lake District and Pennine Way. Knowing that I will be raising funds for PASIC will no doubt help ease the pain when I am tackling another gruelling hill! Thanks for your support.
