I really want to exceed the target I have set as I believe these charities to be very worth while and I want to help support the great work Phil Jefferson has done for the Stroke Association through-out his captains year at Little Hay Golf Club.  The other charity i have chosen is the Macmillan cancer support and I think you are all aware of the wonderful work they do and worth of our support!    I would also like to point out that this is a totally self funded climb and all money donated will go directly to the chosen charity.

On the 7th October 2010 I will begin my journey to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, the Trek should take approximately 7 days unless I suffer from the dreaded altitude sickness and have to make an early decent!  I have put in a lot of hard work to accomplish this challenge despite waking up each morning with a new injury but despite this I intend to give it all I have and raise as much money as possible for these excellent charities, so please dig deep.
