Story
Hello all!!!
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As many of you are aware, my girlfriend (Kerrie Dawson) was diagnosed with severe Rheumatoid Arthritis in the early part of 2009, being only 22 we thought that this was completely impossible, it wasn't until we started to read more about the condition we realised that many young people across the UK suffer from this awful disease that can really stop a person’s life in its tracks.
We have had our ups and down since then but one thing is for sure that she is a true inspiration to me and everyone around here every day, with her own blog, charity work, book writing and campaigning for awareness with regards to arthritis in the young she has never let this debilitating condition hold her back and always has a smile on her face.
So I want to try and do my bit and have roped my brother in as well to raise as much money as possible to really help make a difference. We are going to be taking part in the Men's Health - survival of the fittest run which consists of a massive run with 10 gruelling obstacles and can take anywhere between 1 - 2.5 hours to complete.
