Ok,here we go.

Dont get me wrong...,i dont feel this task i have placed in front of me, as something easy...but life rarely is, is it?challenges come and go and we overcome them.We get better and we come out stronger. We can try.. keeping positive and being strong and helpful for your family, your friends ...and those in need of help.

I have wanted to do this walk since last year but had to wait for various reasons until now for it...

We see and hear challenges and difficulties many children and women around the world face each day...,each hour...,each second. As i write this right now, there are children and women suffering and facing abuse and danger. Denied of rights and sentenced to a life of extreme poverty. Children and women who are scared, hungry, cold, sad , abused. All in danger of being forgotten.

'I dont want to forget them.never,ever.'

Recent earthquakes in Haiti and Chile have added further sufferings with devastation and fatalities. In these trying times however, people are coming together responding to help...

Many people in their thousands and thousands have been generous for these causes...,so we should carry on, and make a difference...,however small, how ever little.Help are getting to them, but the work has just begun.there will be more challenges ahead to keep their future right.

I have placed a high target. £250.000.
I believe it can be achieved, because the challenge i have placed in front of me is hard, more over the cause we are doing this for is WORTH every step.(there's a lot of them ahead.900.000 steps!)

I dont mind  any amount in donation..all is greatly appreciated..UNICEF  work in over 190 countries....i want to give a lending hand...That is why iam here.

Example of  how powerful your donation is:

1 week's supply of therapeutic milk,

nutritional products, vitamins and

medicine for a child                                                       £10

1 complete survival kit, necessary to save

the life of a severely malnourished child

in less than 4 weeks                                                      £27

1 mechanical surface pump

(less than 7 meters)                                                      £36

1 hand pump (20 to 70 meters)

providing permanent and lasting access

to safe drinking water for around

500 people                                                      from £350* to £2140

Equipment to detect malaria early(giving them critical time for help, especially children).           £0.75

To keep a class open for 70 children(taking them off the street for a moment giving them a chance for a better future.and a smile.)                                                                                                                               £75

Help a child and his or her family to start their own (away from their daily routine of work in mountains of rubbish, each day from morning till afternoon in place  where their lifes are threatened with contaminated needles, pollution and abuse).                                                                                                                     £150

I am going to do this walk on the 22nd of May 2010, in aid of UNICEF...and hope to raise money to help the CHILDREN.

''   If only i can raise £1 for each step....''  for  those in need, that would be fantastic.

Thank you every one.

For this walk,I know that the quiet strength of the children will push me along the way. It is the ONLY reason why i am undertaking this.Would you walk with me by supporting me in this 'Life's walk'?
