I am going to attempt to learn grade 1 flute by April as part of the Manchester University Music Society (MUMS) grade1athon. Practice rooms in uni are now strangely filled with complete beginners, all attempting to learn an instrument they've never played before. Violin, piano, singing and now to add flute to the list!
