Story

Most 80 year old's are reaching for the pipe & slippers. Not my Dad. He has decided to celebrate his 80th as well as 50 years in the pub industry by attempting a sponsored 30 mile bike ride around all the pubs he has ever owned! He will be supported and encouraged along the way by around 30 friends and family which he might need, especially on those savage hills!

Dad is really hoping to cycle the last 100 yards with his grandchildren including my daughter Bella (his grand-daughter) who has the condition Prader-Willi syndrome.  He is raising much needed funds for research into PWS, this complex genetic syndrome causes physical & intellectual disability as well as a constant debilitating hunger, hormonal imbalances and much more.

Everyone is invited to the Jolly Sailor where there will be a party atmosphere to cheer him over the finish line & celebrate with a well earned pint or three. The bike ride is on Saturday 2nd April 2022. The first few over the finish line will be around 1-1:30, Dad will be a little later hopefully!

About the charity
