Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
I will be running in the Great Edinburgh run on the 2nd May 2010 to raise money and awareness for one of the UK’s foremost charities in the provision of care and support to our armed forces veterans.
I served with the 2nd Battalion Scots Guards for over 9 years and after many trials and tribulations on leaving the army, along with heart disease, mental health problems and arthritis my family and I discovered first hand just what a difference Erskine can make to your life.
As an organisation, Erskine can never stand still. Sadly war isn’t a thing of the past and Erskine is already looking after young men and women who have come to Erskine from current conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Their needs are constantly changing and the extension recently opened at the Edinburgh home will provide additional places for local veterans and much-needed facilities for our residents.
Last but not least, as a charity, Erskine rely on voluntary donations and I would ask you to make a donation and sponsor me on this challange and help Erskine provide the care our ex-Service men and women so richly deserve
Thank You
So please sponsor me now and make a difference to our proud and brave veterans
thanks again!
