Dear All,

It's that time of the year again... I've completed the Great North Run around twelve times now (it could be more) and I'm still going strong, so apart from a few broken bits that one year I'm still managing to get to that finish line.

This year I'm doing both the Great North and Great South runs and any donations for the former will be greatly appreciated.  This year I'm keeping my chosen charity very close to home and would appreciate any donations you may wish to make to Hartlepool Hospice.

Now you might not realise it but I've not asked for any donations for a couple of years now. I don't like to put on people all the time and I'll promise to run just for the love of running next year as long as some of you can dig deep and donate to this worthy cause. 

Who knows you might get to see me in plaster again and that's always worth a quid of anyones readies.
