We provide the opportunity of riding to improve the lives of disabled people.

Story

We are looking to raise £500 whilst launching Blenheim Palace
International Horse Trials. We have a charity ride from Cheltenham Racecourse
to Blenheim Palace, in aid of the Abingdon Riding for the Disabled Association
(RDA).

To launch Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials,
brought to you by The Jockey Club in 2021 - we are arranging a charity ride
from Cheltenham Racecourse to Blenheim on Wednesday 15th and Thursday 16th
September.

We are busy arranging horses and riders to leave Cheltenham
Racecourse and make the two-day journey in aid of our wonderful partner
charity, the RDA. At Blenheim IHT we will joined by the wonderful, hard-working
volunteers from Abingdon RDA, who will be present all four days of the event in
a fundraising capacity. Whilst our send off is being provided by Cotswold RDA,
based at Cheltenham Racecourse

Our main objective is to raise awareness of The RDA during
the route, making a few stops for "Tea and Cake" along the way at
various key locations.  We hope to gather
some familiar names, both equine and human, to join us along the way, and if we
can raise some funds whilst we are at it, then that would be a lovely bonus.

About the charity

From a purpose built centre in Oxon, we specialise in providing riding to private individuals, from all ages and a wide spectrum of disabilities. We provide as many riders as possible with the opportunity to ride to benefit their health and well being, and to support the achievement of their goals.
