One week  Post the Marathron: Wow I finished the VLM with a time of 4.35 hours with no injuries and no blisters and heart full of glory that I actually have done London.My first ever marathron. It was awesome! The runners were amazing the supporter were amazing. The event is amazing. London should be so proud!  I took the last week of work just incase of any hiccups during the event. I want thank ever one for their amazing support and belief in me and as a result one small charity will bring a lot happiness to children and families around the United Kingdom.

Counting Down and four more days to go. Tomorrow we are off to get my number and have a look around the expo excel centre all very exciting. I also got my new drifit t-shirit from the Foundation so hence another photo. By the way I hate photos! Once again thanks for the amazing support . Thanks  to every one who is support me with this justgiving site and on Foundation Paediatric Osteopathy web site and of course the sponsor forms.

My nerves are bit shakey, I spoke to my brother in Singapore today and he has done a marathron or two in his time. His advise is have a pint or two of Guiness on Friday night it will boost your vitamin B, iron and a good night sleep.

If any one can beat this advise please let me know. Now look at the photo and remember to shout my name.

Thanks a million for supporting me. This is my update: my nerves are getting shakey  with the tapering down of the milleage.

At times recently, I began to wonder did I choose the right charity for my first marathron. It has no fudraising team,no vest, no pasta party, no support team. 26 miles is a long way to run no matter how prepared you are!

What it does have is a clinic with a room full of Osteopaths who are willing to treat newborn to children with a respect and kindness. The Clinic is warm and friendly. It turns no family away whether they can afford the treatment or not.

This charity is very small and it need help to keep its door open to keep doing their invalueable work.
