I'm taking part in the challenge to help raise money for such a vital piece of equipment that will help improve diagnoses and treatments for so many people, not just in Sheffield but across the whole of Yorkshire.

As tough as the going will get for me during the challenge, it's nothing compared to the daily challenges that many people go through fighting illness and disease that hopefully this scanner will be able to diagnose earlier and so begin treatments earlier, which will improve health outcomes and quality of life.
